-The City of Holly Springs

In 1817, Archibald Leslie came to Holly Springs and opened a mercantile store and tailoring service. In later years he built a 38 room mansion that was and still is the showpiece of the community. Mr. Leslie would eventually become a very prominent citizen in Holly Springs, and under his influence, the village attracted many business owners and their families.
